The Secretary-General of the Abyan Local Council Affirms the Importance of the New Economic City in Supporting Development and Investment

Mr. Mahdi Al-Hamad, Secretary-General of the Abyan Local Council, affirmed the importance of the New Economic City project, noting that it represents a significant step toward supporting development, strengthening the investment environment, and creating broader opportunities for growth in the governorate.
His remarks came during the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the New Economic City, where he expressed his appreciation for the significance of the project and the developmental and economic dimensions it carries. He noted that such a project can contribute to creating new opportunities, stimulating investment activity, and supporting the broader development trajectory of Abyan Governorate.
He further indicated that strategic projects of this scale play an important role in building a more stable economic future, especially when they are based on a clear vision, integrated planning, and a promising location capable of accommodating diverse economic and investment activities.
